John Russell Had Not Been In Good Health
John T. Russell, 31, a farmer living near Akron, died Wednesday at his home. He had been a patient at a Council Bluffs hospital for three months and had returned home the day after Thanksgiving.
Despondent, Russell is believed to have hanged himself in the granary, where, the body was found by a member of the family. The body was taken into the house and a doctor from Akron was called, but Mr. Russell had evidently been dead for some time.

He leaves to mourn his loss his wife and three children, Jacquelyn, Mary Margaret and Billy, his mother, Mrs. James Russell, two sisters, and two brothers, Mrs. Miller, Minnie Russell of Le Mars, Mike Russell, Merrill, and Chas. of Le Mars. He was preceded in death by his father and one brother, Eugene.
