Ethel E. Ewin

Ethel E. Ewin, 58, of LeMars died Wednesday (Jan. 21, 1981) at Floyd Valley hospital in LeMars after a brief illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Friday in the Mauer funeral home at LeMars. Rev. Paul Klingbeil will officiate. Burial will be in Resthaven Memory Gardens.

Miss Ewin was born Sept. 16, 1922, at Seney. Her mother was the former Gladys L. Kennedy. She was a member of the United Methodist Church.

Survivors are her mother, Mrs. Gladys Ewin of Mena, Ark.; one brother, Vernon of Mena; and three sisters, Mrs. Gerald (Frances) Bos of Greensboro, N.C., Mrs. Lee (Ruth) Forslund of Fort Smith, Ark, and Mrs. Eugene (Ida) Hodapp of Van Buren, Ark.

She was preceded in death by her father, Charles Ewin, in August of 1963. She was raised by John and Sadie Alderson of Seney, who preceded her in death.
