Johanna Dorothy Haage, 73, Craig, lifelong Plymouth county resident, died Monday (May 18, 1981) at her home after an apparent heart attack. She lived at Craig the last 20 years.

Services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John's Evangelical Lutheran church, rural Akron. Rev. Robert Kruempel will officiate and burial will be in St. John's Preston township cemetery, rural Akron. A prayer service will be held at 8 p.m. Wednesday at Mauer funeral home in Le Mars, which is in charge of arrangements.

Johanna Kruse was born Dec. 21. 1907, in Plymouth county to John and Johanna Reemts Kruse. She married Fred H. Haage Nov. 23.1925. He preceded her in death in 1961.

She was also preceded in death by her parents, three sisters and two brothers.

Mrs. Haage was a member of St. John's Lutheran church.

Survivors are two sons. Glenn Haage, Le Mars, and Donald Haage, Akron; five grandchildren and a sister, Mrs. Ida Halweg, Le Mars.
