RONALD HODAPP

Baby Ronald Hodapp, who was born September 29, 1954, passed away March 15, 1955, in his home in Oyens.

Funeral services will be held at Assumption church in Merrill at 8 a.m. Friday, March 18, under the direction of the Luken funeral home.  Burial will be in Calvary cemetery in LeMars.

Survivors include the father and mother, Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hodapp; a brother, Dennis; grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Charles Ewin, of Seney, and Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hodapp, of Merrill.

HODAPP INFANT
Funeral services were conducted at the Assumption church in Merrill on Friday morning, March 18, at 8 o’clock for the six month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Gene Hodapp of Oyens.  Rev. Carel officiated.  Burial was in the Calvary cemetery at LeMars.

HODAPP INFANT DIES IN OYENS; FUNERAL AT MERRILL

Ronald Allen Hodapp, 6-month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hodapp of Oyens, died March 15, at Oyens.  He was born Sept. 29, 1954.

Survivors are his parents; one brother, Dennis; paternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Lee Hodapp, of Merrill; and maternal grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Chas. Ewin, of Seney.

Services were at 8 a.m. Friday morning at the Assumption church in Merrill.  Rev. Wm. Carel officiated.  Burial was in Calvary Cemetery at LeMars under the direction of Luken’s funeral home.

2 DEATHS IN HODAPP FAMILY THIS MONTH
Twice this month death has hit relatives of Mr. and Mrs. Leo Hodapp.  March 7, his mother, Mrs. Rachel Hodapp, 95, who had made her home with them for many years, died, and March 15, their grandson, Ronald Allen Hodapp, six-month old son of Mr. and Mrs. Eugene Hodapp of Oyens, expired.  He left besides his parents, a brother, Dennis, and four grandparents.  Both funerals were held in the Assumption Catholic church here, with Rev. Lloyd Carel saying the Mass and the burial in Calvary cemetery in LeMars.

FAMILY NOTE: The infant Ronald Hodapp was buried "in the arms of his great grandmother, Rachel Hodapp." Her grave was opened and little Ronald's casket was lowered down on top of hers. They are both buried in the same grave at Calvary Cemetery, LeMars, Iowa.
