RITES HELD MONDAY
Funeral services for Mrs. C. A. Reynolds, 76, a resident of Le Mars 51 years, were held at 2 p.m. Monday at Luken's funeral home. Rev. Al Kinrade officiated, with burial in the city cemetery.
Mrs. Reynolds died in her sleep Friday, Aug. 24, at her home at 215 2nd Ave. SE. She had been in ailing health the last 5 1/2 years.
Hulda Bertha Jaacks was born Oct. 25, 1885, at Sutherland. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Cleveland Reynolds, a daughter and son.
She was a member of the First Baptist church.
Surviving are five daughters, Mrs. John (Esther) Drews of Las Vegas, Mrs. Kenneth (Dorothy) Leslie of Muskegon, Mich., Mrs. Ed (Geraldine) Kass, Mrs. Donald (Gwendolyn) Rollinger and Odette Reynolds, all of Le Mars; three sons, Harry of Le Mars, Clevo of Albuquerque and an adopted son, James Remington of Minneapolis; 18 grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters and a brother, Mrs. Mattie Schlingen of Mitchell, S. D., Mrs. William Morrison of Tyrone, Pa., Mrs. Joe Grosie of Tillimok, Ore., and John Jaacks of Sutherland.
Pallbearers were Charles Rollinger, Thomas Kass, Ray Kass, Robert Lauters, Jack Donlin and Ralph Zimmer.
