The funeral of Mr. Schuster was held at the Preston township Lutheran
church on Saturday. Mr. Schuster had been making his home with his
daughter, Mrs. Walter Schleuter. A son, who lives at Richgrove,
California, came to attend the funeral.

Akron Register Tribune, 31 Dec 1914Rudolph Frederick Schuster passed away Monday, December 21, 1914 at the home of his daughter Mrs. Walter Schluter, one mile south of Ruble, of pneumonia, aged 73 years, 3 months and 15 days. Deceased was born September 8, 1841 in Germany, where he spent his young manhood and was married. He came to Plymouth county with his family about twenty-two years ago and the family home has since remained in Johnson Township. His wife preceded him to the Great Beyond about eighteen years ago. Mr. Schuster was an upright, honorable and industrious citizen and highly esteemed by all who knew him. He is survived by several children, one son coming from California to attend the funeral. They have the sympathy of many friends in their bereavement.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Johnson Township German Lutheran Church, Rev. Myers officiating. Interment was made in the cemetery there beside his wife.
