Funeral services for Fredrick H. Milbrodt, age 57, of Akron, were held Monday morning, September 25, at St. Paul Lutheran Church in Sioux City, Rev. H. H. Schauland officiating. Burial was in St. John's Cemetery in Preston Township, rural Akron.

Pall bearers were Martin Dirks, Glen Milbrodt, Dale Milbrodt, Claus Kruse, Edwin Frerichs and Alvin Frerichs.

Mr. Milbrodt died unexpectedly near Westfield, Iowa, September 12, from an apparent heart attack. He was born February 10, 1915, at Akron where he farmed most of his life and was employed in Sioux City for about twenty years. He was a World War II veteran.

Survivors are his brothers, Henry, Robert and Paul, all of Sioux City, Clarence of Westfield, Herman and Charles, all of Akron, William of Colorado Springs, Colo., George of Hinton; sisters, Mrs. William Heubrock of Hawarden, Mrs. Rodney Lane of Meckling, S.D., Mrs. Leo Hanson of Elk Point, Mrs. John Miller of Rock Valley and Mrs. James Small of Akron.
