"Henry Maass.
Henry John Maass, 65, a former farm laborer of Remsen died at a Le Mars hospital, Tuesday, after a two year sickness.
Mr. Maass was born March 15, 1891, in Plymouth county, the son of Henry and Marie Maass.
Survivors include a sister, Mrs. Fred Seel; a brother, Frank, and a half brother, Otto Kohnke, all of Remsen.
Funeral services were at 2 p.m. thursday at Christ Lutheran church in Remsen. Rev. Alfred Christiansen officiated and burial was in the Remsen city cemetery under direction of the Moeller funeral home." - Le Mars Globe-Post, September 6, 1956, page 16, column 3.
