Augusta Lubben, 219 Central Avenue Northwest, Le Mars, passed away at the Plymouth county home on Sept. 18 1963, just after her 83rd birthday which was observed September 10.
Augusta Rode was born Sept. 10, 1880 in Possen, Germany. Her death was unexpected as she had not been sick. She was married to Henry S. Lubben Sr., on January 10, 1912 at Marshall Minn., Her parents were the late Gustav Rode and Amelia Hinke, Rode. Her husband passed away in April this year.
Funeral services are planned for Saturday, September 21 at 2 p. m. at St. John's American Lutheran church with burial to be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of Mauer funeral home. Rev. L. L. Belk and Rev. Robert Floy will officiate.
Survivors include two sons, Henry Lubben Jr., Le Mars and Harm Lubben Denver; five grandchildren; a brother, Henry Rode, Canby, Minn.
A son Elmer and an infant daughter as well as her parents and a brother, preceded her in death.
She was a member of ALCW circle Martha of St. John's Church.
