Life's End
HERBERT MOLZEN RITES SET FRIDAY IN PRESTON TWP.

Herbert Peter Molzen, 69, of route 3, Le Mars, died Tuesday at Sacred Heart hospital where he had been a patient a week. He had suffered ailing health for several years. Funeral services will be at 2 p. m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church, Preston township, with Rev. Conrad C. Guetzloff officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery under direction of Mauer's funeral home.

A retired farmer. Mr. Molzen was a lifelong Plymouth county resident. He was born Nov. 26, 1895, in Preston township, the son of Peter and Mary Muecke Molzen. He was a world war 1 veteran. His marriage to Anna Louise Plueger took place Sept. 23, 1920. in Preston township.

His wife survives, as do two sons, Leonard and Daryl. both of rural Le Mars; grandson, Larry Molzen: two sisters. Bertha Frerichs of Akron and Mrs. Herman Frerichs of Le Mars, and four brothers; Henry, Walter, Alfred and Elmer, all of L e Mars. He was preceded in death by his parents, a brother and sister.
