Walter Molzen
Funeral services for Walter Molzen, 70, will be at 2 p. m. Friday at St. John Evangelical Lutheran church, Preston township. Prayer services will be 8 p. m. Thursday at Mauer funeral home. Rev. James Sandvik will officiate.

Mr. Molzen was born Oct. 14, 1897, in Preston township. He was a lifelong Plymouth county resident and a livestock and grain farmer. He died Wednesday following a long illness and a 5-week stay at Floyd Valley hospital. He was the son of the late Peter Molzen and Mary Muecke. He was married to Clara Beeck Oct. 1,1953, at Lincoln, Neb.

Survivors are his wife; three brothers, Henry, Alfred and Elmer, all of Le Mars, and a sister, Mrs. Bertha Frerichs, Akron. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Emma in 1950; two brothers, Herbert and an infant brother, and two sisters, Anna Frerichs and an infant sister.
