Mrs. Theresa Feller, 75, longtime LeMars resident, died Wednesday morning, May 8, at Sacred Heart Hospital. She suffered a stroke two years ago and had been an invalid since.
Born Jan. 7, 1882, Theresa Krantz came to this community at the age of 19. She had resided here since. Her marriage to John Feller took place Oct. 3, 1901, at Oyens.
Her home was 214 3rd Ave. SW. She was a member of St. James Altar Society.
Surviving are five daughters: Mrs. Chris (Agnes) Thorman and Mrs. Leonard ((Marta) Howard, both of Granville; Mrs. Albert Baddte and Mrs. Leo (Gertrude) DeForce, both of LeMars; and Mrs. Lawrence (Alverna) Langenhorst, of Sheldon; two sons, John J., of LeMars and Lawrence T., of Granville; 11 grandchildren; and two great grandchildren.
Also surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Theodore Schmitz and Mrs. Mary Colling, both of Howard, S.D., and Mrs. Minnie Hentgen, of Dubuque; and a brother, Frank, of Howard, S.D.
Preceding her in death were her husband, three brothers and two sisters.
Funeral services were held at 9:30 a.m. Saturday at St. James Catholic church. Burial was in Calvary Cemetery under the direction of the Wiltgen-Luedtke Funeral Home.
