Walter A. Klemme, 81, of Akron, died Monday, Oct. 12, 1992, at St. Luke's Regional Medical Center, Sioux City.

Mr. Klemme was a lifelong Plymouth County resident.

Services were held at 10 a.m. Friday at Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron. The Rev. William Flemr officiated. Burial was in Christ Lutheran Church Cemetery, rural Le Mars, under direction of the Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mr. Klemme was born Aug. 21, 1911, at Akron to Edwin and Anna (Bubs) Klemme. He married Clara L.Heeren June 3, 1937 in Le Mars. She died April 19, 1982. He married Mabel Hillrichs Aug. 21, 1983, at Akron. She died Aug. 25, 1992.

Mr. Klemme was a farmer and seed corn dealer for Northrup King. He was a member of Immanuel Lutheran Church in Akron.

Survivors include a daughter, Janice Rohlfs and her husband, Allen of Council Bluffs; a grandson, LaMont Rohlfs and his wife, Amy of Akron; and a sister-inlaw, Fern Klemme of Akron.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a sister, Lula Hinrichs; a brother, Erwin and a nephew, James Hinrichs.,
