Rachel Dawn Oetken, infant daughter
of Mr. and Mrs. Roger Oetken of Akron,
died Monday (April 18, 1983) in St.
Luke's regional medical center, Sioux
City.

Services were held at 3 p.m. Tuesday
in Trinity Lutheran church, Akron. Rev.
Marvin Mueller officiated with burial in
Riverside cemetery.

Honorary pallbearers were: Tom
Schroeder, Bob Schroeder, Bob Kelley,
Jim Mahaney, Brad Vreugdenhil, and
Rick Oetken.

Rachel was born April 15,1983, in the
Akron city hospital.

Survivors include her parents Roger
and Rhonda Oetken; one brother, Travis
at home; paternal grandparents, Mr.
and Mrs. Earl Oetken of Akron; maternal
grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Ron
Schroeder of Akron; maternal great-grandparents,
Mr. and Mrs. Herb
Schroeder of Hartley and Mr. and Mrs.
Erwin Glade of Ocheyedan
