MRS, ANNA BARINSKY
DIES UNEXPECTEDLY
AFTER BRIEF ILLNESS
Mrs. Anna Margaret Barinsky,
75, longtime Plymouth
county resident, died unexpect-
edly Tuesday at Floyd Valley
Hospital after a brief illness.
She was rushed to the hospital
by ambulance Tuesday noon.
Anna Hillrichs, the daughter of
Henry and Mina (Schmidt) Hillrichs,
was born Oct. 3, 1893, at
Athens, Ill. She came here
as an infant. Her marriage to
William Barinsky took place
Feb. 21, 1917, in Preston township,
rural Akron.
Funeral services will be at 2
p.m. Friday at St. John Evangelical
Lutheran church, Preston
township. Burial will be in
the church cemetery. Rev.
James Sandvik will officiate.
A prayer service will be held
at 7:30 p.m. Thursday at the
Mauer Funeral home chapel.
Survivors are her husband,
William, Le Mars;, two sons,
Raymond, Le Mars, and Lowell,
Akron; three daughters,
Mrs. Loren (Gladys) Eden and
Mrs. Wayne (Lorraine) Hamilton,
both of Alcester, and Mrs.
Lennis (Eileen). Onken, Sioux
City; 13 grandchildren; three
brothers, Henry Hillrichs,
Craig, and Harry and Ben of
Akron, and two sisters, Mrs.
Andrew Andresen, Hawarden,
and Mrs. Mina Peters, Akron.
Mrs. Barinsky was a member
of St. John Church, Preston
township, ALOW and Messiah
circle.
She was preceded in death
by her parents and four brothers
