HENRY ADDEN, 74, WAS LIFELONG COUNTY RESIDENT

Henry A. Adden, 74, of 106 Fourth Ave. NW, died Tuesday at Floyd Valley hospital, Le Mars, after a brief illness.

He was born Aug. 28, 1893, in Elgin township and was a lifelong Plymouth county resident.

He was a retired mechanic.

His marriage to Kathryn Stenzel took place Dec. 20, 1923, in Le Mars. His parents were the late Albert and Johanna (Friedrichs) Adden.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 2 p.m. at St. John American Lutheran church. Rev. L. L. Belk and Rev. Imbrock will officiate and burial will be in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Mauer Funeral home.

A prayer service will be held Wednesday at 7:30 p.m. at the funeral home chapel.

Survivors are his wife, Kathryn; two sisters, Mrs. Marie Beck and Mrs. Anna Kilker both of Le Mars and several nieces and nephews.
