Mary Hecht, 88, lifelong resident of
Merrill, died Sunday (May 11, 1975) a
Plymouth Manor care center in Le
Mars, where she had made her home
the last two years.

She was born June 15, 1887, in Merrill
the daughter of John and Anna Hoffman
Hecht. She was never married.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday
at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph church,
Ellendale, with Rev. Robert
McClintock officiating. Burial will be in
the church cemetery under direction of
the Luedtke funeral home.

Parish rosary will be recited at 8
p.m. Tuesday and the CDA rosary at
8:30 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
She was also a member of the Catholic
Order of Foresters.

Survivors are her brother Dennis
Hecht, Merrill, a niece and three
nephews.

She was preceded in death by her
parents, a sister Anna and two
brothers, Peter and Theodore.

NOTE: The tombstone was read to
read birth year 1886.
