Theodore D. Hecht, 70, route 2,
Merrill passed away on Wednes-
day, November 28th, at the Sacred
Heart hospital after a short
sickness.

He was born December 21, 1891,
Johnson township. He farmed near
Kingsley for 16 years and farmed
in the Merrill vicinity since 1938.

On January 14, 1920 he was united
in marriage to Mary Wiltgen.

Funeral services will be held on
Friday, November 30, 10:30 a.m.,
St. Joseph's church at Ellendale.
Burial will be in the church ceme-
tery under the direction of the
Wiltgen-Luedtke. Funeral Home.
Rev E. Apt will officiate.

Survivors include the widow Mrs.
Mary Hecht; one son, Harold at
home; one brother, Dennis and a
sister , Mary Hecht, both of Merrill.
He was preceded in death by a
brother and a sister.

A wake was held at the funeral
home at 8 o'clock Thursday evening.
The Mass for Mr. Hecht will be
a solemn requeim mass with Rev
E. E. Apt celebrant; Fr. Edward
Hoffman. Schaller. Iowa, deacon
and Fr. William L. Care1.
