Lewis J. Beaulieu, 84, a Plymouth
county native and longtime resident, died
Monday, September 16, 1974 at St. Joseph
hospital, Stockton, Calif. after a brief illness.
Mr. Beaulieu went to Stockton to make
his home in 1972.

He was born Oct. 24,1891, in Plymouth
county, the son of Alex and Josephine
Beaulieu. He married Mary Mansfield
Sept. 28, 1910, at Akron and the couple
farmed in Liberty township until 1960
when they moved to Le Mars. Mrs.
Beaulieu died in 1971.

Funeral services were held Saturday,
Sept. 21, at St. Joseph Catholic church in
Le Mars with Msgr. Dean Walker officiating.

Burial was made in St Joseph
cemetery, Ellendale, under direction of
the Luedtke funeral home in Le Mars.

Survivors are two daughter, Mrs. Eugene
(Josephine) Phar, Stockton, Calif.
and Mrs. Dale (Agnes) Noble, Le Mars; a
son, John Lewis Beaulieu, Stockton, and
eight grandchildren. There are 16 great-grandchildren
and a sister, Mrs. Max Huber, Sioux City.

He was preceded in death by his parents;
a daughter, Mrs. Helen Ross and
five brothers.
