Henry R. Collmann, 94, former Chatsworth resident, died Sun­day, March 23 at the Plymouth Care Center in Le Mars.

Services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Plymouth Presbyterian Church near Brunsville with the Rev. James Ransom officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

A prayer service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer Funeral Home in Le Mars.

Mr. Collmann was born May 15, l885 in Plymouth County. He farmed in Plymouth County until retiring in 1957 and moving to Chatsworth. He moved to the rest home In Le Mars in 1977.

He married Christena Morrison on Feb. 22, 1911.

Survivors include the widow; one son, Colin of rural Ireton; two daughters, Mrs. Arvel (Frances) Lake of Sioux City and Mrs Gerhard (Cecelia) Moller of Chatsworth; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Henry R. Collmann, 94, lifelong Akron and Chatsworth area resident, died Sunday (March 23, 1980) at the Plymouth Manor, care center in Le Mars.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Plymouth Presbyterian church, rural Akron. The Rev. James Ransom officiated with burial in the church cemetery. A prayer service was held at 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Mauer funeral home in Le Mars.

Pallbearers were Gary Moller, Jim Moller, Scott Lake, Ronald Collmann, Ken Johnson, Tom Day and Greg Barinsky.

Mr. Collmann was born May 15, 1885 in Plymouth county to Henry C. and Anka Helgens Collmann. He farmed northeast of Akron until retiring in 1957 and moving to Chatsworth. He moved to Plymouth Manor in 1977. He married Christena Morrison on Feb. 22, 1911.

Mr. Collmann is survived by his wife Christena; one son, Colin of rural Ireton; two daughters, Mrs. Arvel (Frances) Lake of Sioux City and Mrs. Gerhard
Moller of Chatsworth; nine grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents, an infant daughter, three sisters and three brothers.
