Mrs. Anna Heeren Monday Sept 27, 1953 LeMars Globe, LeMars, Plymouth, Iowa, USA

Funeral services for Mrs. Anna Heeren were held at 2 p.m. (Monday) at Christ Lutheran church, Grant township. Rev. F.O. Bunge officiated. Burial was in the church cemetery with Maurer Funeral home in charge of arrangements.

Anna Wilhelmine Monke was born on October 31, 1877 in Litchfield, Illinois. She came to Plymouth county in 1904 and lived in this vicinity ever since. On January 20, 1906,m she was united in marriage to John J. Heeren; in Litchfield, Illinois. To this union were born six children one of whom preceded her in death. Deceased had been in ailing health for the past several years and passed away on September 19, at the Sacred Heart hospital in LeMars. She was 75 years , 10 months and 18 days old.

Survivors include three sons, Laurence, Walter and Harry, all of LeMars and two daughters; Mrs. George (Ruth) Baack and Mrs. Harvey (Rose) Ludwigs, both of LeMars. Also, six grandchildren, two great grandchildren and two brothers, Herman Monke and Pipestone, Minnesota and Free Monke of Weinett, Texas.

Mrs. Heeren was preceded in death by her husband, her parents, one son, Richard two brothers and three sisters.
