SERVICES HELD FOR ROBERT SCHINDEL

This community was saddened Monday morning by the death of Robert Schindel, 12-year-old son of Mr. and Mrs. George Schindel, who was killed when a tractor he was driving on a country road near his home overturned in a ditch, pinning him beneath.

Robert was born August 22, 1942, and was a lifelong resident of Plymouth County. He attended the Hinton public school, and was an active member of the Sunday school of the Melbourne E.U.B. church.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Melbourne E.U.B. church, with Rev. Charles Henry officiating. Burial was in the church cemetery.

Survivors include his parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Schindel; a sister, Susan; and his grandparents, Allen Schindel of Hinton, and Mr. and Mrs. Leslie Martin of Sioux City.
