EDDIE BURKE LAID TO REST

Edmund Sylvester Burke, 73, was found dead Tuesday morning at the foot of the stairs to the basement of the Clark Bros. Construction Co. office in Hinton.

The deceased was born May 2, 1878, in Lancaster County, Penn., the son of Patrick Burke and Margaret McFadden Burke. He had lived in this vicinity for 30 years, at Moville, Sioux City and Hinton, and had been employed by Clark Bros. for 27 years.

Mr. Burke had no known relatives and was never married.

Funeral services were conducted this Thursday afternoon at the Luken funeral home in LeMars, with Rev. Patterson officiating. Burial was in the cemetery at LeMars.

Mr. Burke had many friends in this vicinity who mourn his passing.
