JOHN (DICK) ROEHRICH
Funeral services for John Richard (Dick) Roehrich, 74, a Plymouth County native and lifelong resident, will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday at St. John’s American Lutheran Church, Merrill.
Rev. Harold Norheim will officiate and burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery under the direction of the Luken-Johnson Funeral Home in LeMars.
Mr. Roehrich died Sept. 9, 1981, at Brentwood Good Samaritan Center where he had lived for the last five years.
There will be a scripture service Friday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Mr. Roehrich was born March 10, 1907, in Grant township, Plymouth county, to Charles and Katherine Wilken Roehrich. He was a farmer and a member of Wasmer Post, American Legion. He was a veteran of World War II, serving in the army.
Mr. Roehrich was a member of St. John’s church.
Survivors are two brothers, Charles and Walter, both of Hinton. There are 10 nieces and nephews surviving.
He was preceded in death by his parents; three sisters, and four brothers.
