DEATH OF AGED WOMAN

Mrs. Lydia Welter Was a Resident of
Iowa for Forty Years

Mrs. Lydia C. Welter, an aged resident of Plymouth county, died on Monday at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Clyde C. Green, north of Merrill, on Monday, September 13th. She has been in failing health for several months.

Mrs. Welter, whose maiden name was Lydia C. Moore was born in New Jersey, June 26, 1834. She lived in Illinois and had lived in Iowa for the past thirty-eight years. Nine years ago she came to live with her daughter, Mrs. M.M. Bly. She is survived by her daughter, Mrs. Bly, eleven grandchildren and eighteen great grandchildren.

The funeral was held on Wednesday at the Methodist church in Merrill and interment made in the city cemetery there.
