SENEY: (Special Correspondence)

The eldest child of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. Sardeson, of Alton, died on Monday
last of brain fever and was brought to this place on Wednesday for
burial. We were unable to gather further particulars.

~Family history note: The eldest child of Wm. Sardeson and Eliza Osborne was John David Sardeson, born 16 Dec 1883, Alton, Iowa; he died 03 Mar 1890, Alton, Iowa. Per the above news item, he was buried in the Seney, Iowa, cemetery.
