Rites in Le Mars for Esther Null

Esther Null, 72, of Mesa, Ariz., and formerly of Le Mars, died unexpectedly Friday, May 25, 1990 at her home in Mesa.

Graveside services were at 10:30 a.m. Thursday, May 31 in Le Mars Memorial Cemetery with Rev. Paul Lemke officiating.

Mrs. Null, the former Esther Raveling, was born July 6, 1917, in Remsen. She married Russell Null Aug. 27, 1939, in Remsen. The couple lived in Aurelia, Harlan and Boyden where they taught school. The also lived in Le Mars from 1950 until 1959. They then moved to Early and later retired to Storm Lake. In 1988 they moved to Mesa.

Survivors include her husband; two sons, Dick of Rock Rapids and Roger of St. Louis, Mo.; a sister, Mrs. Herb (Loretta) Beck of Florida; two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
