CAUSE OF DEATH: ..of an apparent heart attack
DATE OF DEATH: Friday, April 21, 2000
PLACE OF DEATH: …at Washington Hospital Center, Washington D.C., while traveling on vacation.
DATE OF BIRTH: Sept. 1, 1918
PLACE OF BIRTH: Remsen, Iowa
PARENTS: Alfred F. and Henrietta (Janss) Moeller, Sr.
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 1st MARRIAGE: Thelma Louise Banks, Remsen, Iowa
SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II, first stationed in New York. He was employed with Moeller Furniture Store and Moeller Funeral Home, with his father and uncle. Eventually he took over the business, which he operated for more than 50 years. The Moeller Furniture store was sold in 1986, but he continued to operate the funeral home.
SURVIVORS: …include his wife; a son and his wife, Mark and Bonnie of Rochester, N.H.; a daughter and her husband, Michele and Warren Wallin, of Omaha; three grandchildren; a great grandson; a sister and her husband, Marguerite and Bob Woodward of Temecula, Calif.; a brother and his wife, Robert and Elsie, of Santa Maria, Calif.
