PLACE OF DEATH: …at the Brentwood Good Samaritan Center, in LeMars.

PLACE OF BIRTH: …in rural Brunsville, Iowa

SPOUSE & DATE & PLACE of 2nd MARRIAGE:
OCCUPATION: They lived in Merrill, where she worked for the Merrill Bank for 20 years until they moved to LeMars in 1964. From 1964 until 1970 she was the assistant matron of the jail in Plymouth County while her husband was the sheriff. He died in October 1970.
SURVIVORS: …include five sons, Dennis and his wife Jane of Merrill, Charles and his wife Kirsten Borg and Jeff and his wife Helen Adams, all of Des Moines, Iowa, James and his wife Tomoka and Thomas, all of LeMars; two brothers, Harvey and his wife Avis of Hinton, and Robert and his wife, Gladys, of Brunsville; three sisters, Helen Lehman of Ida Grove, Iowa, Elenore and her husband, Glen Breitbarth of Norwalk, Calif., and Carla and her husband, Lloyd Schultz of Tehachapi, Calif.; and five grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …her parents and three sisters, Lucia and Joanne Harms and Jean Wilkens.
