OCCUPATION: The couple lived in Sioux City for a year and in Ames for two years. They then lived in various communities in Northwest Iowa, South Dakota and Nebraska. In 1955 they moved to LeMars. She was employed as a front desk receptionist at Sacred Heart Hospital and Floyd Valley Hospital in LeMars for several years. She later had been employed with St. Luke’s Hospital and various doctor’s offices in Sioux City as an insurance manager.
SURVIVORS: …include her husband; a son and his wife, Tom and Stella of Orchard, Colo.; four daughters and their husbands, Diane and Gene Stinton of LeMars, Jackie and Roger Bartlett of Overland Park, Kan., Michelle and Randy Jonas of Cedar Rapids, and Marcia and Bill Else of Phoenix, Ariz.; 13 grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …her parents; a grandson and two granddaughters.
