OCCUPATION: He was in the U.S. Army, stationed with the occupational forces in Udine, Italy, after World War II. He farmed for many years in Marion Township until retiring in 1975. He was employed with the Kramer Construction and retired from the custodial department of the LeMars Community High School.
SURVIVORS: …include two daughters and their husbands, Vicky and Dave Arens of LeMars, and Beth and Matt Edmonds of Rocky Comfort, Mo.; a son, Scott of LeMars; his mother of LeMars; a sister and her husband, Mary and Dick Adler of Fremont, Neb.; and seven grandchildren.
