OCCUPATION: After attending Wayne State Teachers College in Wayne, Neb., she taught first grade in Merrill for one year. They farmed north of Merrill for 31 years until their retirement in 1983, when they moved to LeMars.
SURVIVORS: ..include her husband; four daughters and their husbands, Barbara and Kenneth Becicka of Alvin, Ill., Carol and Mick Snell of Hampton, Iowa, Dianne and Joseph Rotta of Merrill, and Nancy and Brian Balm of Colorado Springs, Colo.; 10 grandchildren; and a sister and her husband, Lois and Robert Lancaster of LeMars.
