OCCUPATION: They made their home in Grant Township. In 1965, they retired and moved to LeMars. She taught a tatting class at Westmar College. Mr. Lubben died April 19, 1969.
SURVIVORS: …include two daughters, Lucella DeYoung of Tustin, Calif., and Elnora and her husband Herbert Renken of Glendale, Ariz.; a son, Melvin Lubben of Akron, Iowa; a daughter-in-law, Dorothy Lubben of Torrence, Calif.; 16 grandchildren; 31 great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; two sisters, Clara Kluver of Tulsa, Okla., and Rose Johnson of Hawarden, Iowa; and two brothers and their wives, Frederick and Lucille Ludwigs of Stanton, Iowa, and Arthur and Ruth Ludwigs of Hawarden.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: …a son, Marvin; a grandson, Robert DeYoung; two sisters, Anna Harms and Edna Kleene; a brother, William; and a son-in-law, Donald DeYoung.
