SURVIVORS: include two sisters, Bertha Smid and Velma Port, both of Akron; three brothers, Jim and his wife, Alma of Akron, Larry and his wife, Ardie of Vermillion, S.D., and Al Knecht of Sioux City; several nieces, nephews and cousins.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: his parents; two brothers-in-law, Ervin Smid and Alva Port; a sister-in-law, Mary Lee Knecht.
