OCCUPATION: The couple farmed in the Remsen area on the home farm for more than 40 years. In 1963 they moved into Remsen and continued to farm until 1970, when they retired. He died July 25, 1988.
SURVIVORS: include a daughter and her husband, Carol and Ed Bergen of LeMars; a son, Kenneth and his wife, Connie of Remsen; seven grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; and a brother, Stanley and his wife, Blanche, Mohning of LeMars.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: a brother, Donald Mohning.
