OCCUPATION: He served with the U.S. Army 1946-1947 in Japan and the South Pacific theatre. He returned home and continued farming.
SURVIVORS: include his wife; two sons, Kenneth and his wife Catherine, and William, all of LeMars; three grandchildren; a brother and his wife, Edward and Mae of LeMars; and a sister and her husband, Ruth and Loren Behrens of Kingsley, Iowa.
