OCCUPATION: He farmed for a few years and had retired from Plymouth County Road Maintenance Division. The couple moved to LeMars in 1963. His wife died Dec. 21, 1988.
SURVIVORS: include a daughter and her husband, Leanne and Frank Wingert of Sioux City; two sons, Dennis of LeMars, and Mark and his wife, Gloria, of Sioux City; nine grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and a sister-in-law, Helen Wellwood of Sioux City.
PRECEDED in DEATH by: seven brothers and three sisters.
