MRS. HARRY BONNEMA SR.

LE MARS, Iowa—Mrs. Harry Bonnema Sr., 89, of LeMars, died Thursday in a care center at LeMars of long illness.

Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in St. John American Lutheran Church at LeMars. The Rev. William Striepe will officiate. Burial will be in LeMars Memorial Cemetery. There will be a prayer service at 7 p.m. Monday in the Mauer Funeral Home in LeMars.

Mrs. Bonnema, the former Dorothea Mohlmann, was born March 18, 1891, in Akron.

She was married Jan. 23, 1917, at LeMars. She was a lifelong Plymouth county resident. Mr. Bonnema died in February of 1951.

Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Evelyn Ludwigs of LeMars; five sons, Harry, of LeMars, Orville of Lawndale, Calif., Gerald of Bremerton, Wash., Marilyn of Orange City, and Franklin of Portland, Ore.; 12 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
