PRECEDED in DEATH by: her parents; two brothers, Alfred and Herman; three sisters, Minnie, Bertha and Emma; a grandson; and a great granddaughter.

Alma M. Hillrichs

Alma M. Hillrichs, 91, of Akron died Thursday, October 4, 2001, at the Akron Care Center.

Funeral services were Monday, October 8, 2001, at St. John’s Lutheran Church, rural Akron, with Rev. William Kallestad officiating. Burial was in St. John’s Lutheran Cemetery.

Alma Hillrichs was born July 25, 1910, in Plymouth County, the daughter of Henry and Lena (Nannen) Meinen. She married Fred Hillrichs December 12, 1928, in rural Akron Mr. Hillrichs preceded her in death June 12, 1964.

Mrs. Hillrichs was a housewife. She was a member of St. John’s Lutheran Church where she was active in the Ladies Aid and the WELCA.

Survivors include three sons, Kenneth and his wife Loretta of AAKRON, Marlin and his wife Pearl of San Antonio, TX and Richard and his wife Cherlyn of Plainview, NE; one daughter Carol Clarey and her husband Paul of LeMars; sixteen grandchildren; twenty-seven great-grandchildren and two great-great-grandchildren.
