SERVICES HELD FOR
DR. W.T. SHEPARD
IN LE MARS SUNDAY

Passed Away In
Agnew, California

Funeral services were held in LeMars on Sunday afternoon at 2 o’clock, for Dr. William T. Shepard, retired LeMars physician, now of Palo Alto, California, who died at Agnew, California, Thursday, January 30, after an illness of five months.

Dr. Shepard, the son of Mr. and Mrs. Wm. A. Shepard, was born in Ohio on October 12, 1865, and was 81 years, 3 months, and 18 days at the time of his death. He was associated with the LeMars Clinic for a period of 17 years, from the time the clinic was organized until he moved to California 11 years ago.

Deceased is survived by two sons, Dr. Charles E. Shepard of Palo Alto, California, and Dr. William Shepard of San Francisco, California, and two grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his wife, Lavina Shepard.

The funeral services were conducted by Rev. J.J. Share at the Wiltgen Funeral Home with interment in the city cemetery. The local Masonic lodge had charge of the services with Harry Cannon, Robert Long, E. Beachler, Cloyd Woodke, Harvey Kluckhohn and John Moore serving as pallbearers.
