John M’Innis, 68, Akron, Iowa – Died Dec 26, Akron hospital, brief illness. Funeral 2 p.m. Dec 29, United Methodist Church, the Rev. Michael Connor. Burial Riverside Cemetery.
Prayer service 7 p.m. Dec 28, Schroeder Funeral Home.
Born May 18, 1901, Westfield Township. Married Marie Jepsen Nov. 8, 1924, Elkpoint, S.D.
Survivors: Widow; son, Jack of Westfield; daughters, Mrs. William Milbrodt of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Mrs. Gerald Blake of Huron, S.D.; sisters, Mrs. Mae Jones of Westfield and Mrs. James Bockelman of Hawarden; brothers, Hector and Theodore, both of Sioux City; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held Monday, December 29, 1969, at 2 o'clock at the Wesley United Methodist Church, in Akron, for
John Mclnnis, age 68. Rev. Michael Connor officiated. Casket bearers were: Ray Olson, Ocy Jones, Jr., Duane Jones, Lyle
Mclnnis, Bruce Mclnnis and Sterling Mclnnis.

Burial was in the Riverside Cemetery, under the direction of the Schroeder Funeral Home.

Mr. Mclnnis died on December 26 at the Akron Hospital after a brief illness.

John Mclnnis was born May 18,1901, in Westfield Township. On November 8,1924, he married Marie Jepsen at Elk Point, S.D.
Survivors are: his widow; a son Jack, of Westfield; two daughters, Mrs. William Milbrodt, of Sleepy Eye, Minn., and Mrs.
Gerald Blake, of Huron, S.D.; two sisters, Mrs. Mae Jones, of Westfield, and Mrs. Grace Bockelman, of Hawarden; two brothers, Hector and Theodore, both of Sioux City; seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
