Lena C. Boever

Lena C. Boever, 80, Remsen, died Monday at the Remsen nursing home after a long illness.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 10 a.m. at St. Mary Catholic church with Rt. Rev. Msgr. F. P. Schultes officiating.

Burial will be in the parish cemetery under direction of the Fisch funeral home. Rosary will be said Wednesday at 8 p.m. at the funeral home.

Miss Boever was born Aug. 19, 1890, at Struble. She taught elementary school in and near Remsen retiring in 1966.

Survivors are two sisters, Mrs. Anna Helbach of Newfield, N. J., and Mrs. John Schmidt of Alton, and a brother, Phillip J. of Alexandria, Minn.
