EDWARD J. DETLOFF

Funeral services for Edward F. Detloff, 68, lifelong Plymouth county resident who died Friday at his home north of LeMars, will be at 2 p.m. Wednesday at St. John Lutheran church.

Rev. L. L. Belk will officiate, and burial will be in the LeMars City cemetery under the direction of the Luken funeral home.

Mr. Detloff was born April 23, 1889, on a farm in Elgin Twp. He married Della Weber June 2, 1910, at LeMars and was engaged in cattle feeding and shipping here.

Survivors include the widow; two sons, Edwin of LeMars and Alfred of Long Beach, Cal.; a daughter, Mrs. Elmer Bogh of Remsen; two sisters, Mrs. Mamie Dealy of Sioux City and Mrs. Tillie Uthe, of LeMars; two brothers, Henry of Seattle, Wash., and Arthur of Hollywood, Cal.; and eight grandchildren.
