LE MARS, Iowa -- Jashua James Clark, 27, of Le Mars passed away Wednesday, April 5, 2005, near Akron, Iowa.

Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at Mauer-Johnson Funeral Home in Le Mars. Visitation will be after 2 p.m. today, with the family present 4 to 8 p.m. and a sharing service at 7 p.m., at the funeral home. Visitation will resume 9 a.m. until service time Saturday at the funeral home.

Jashua James Clark was born Dec. 27, 1977, in Le Mars, the son of Deborah Kellen and Loren Clark. He was raised in Le Mars and was educated in Le Mars Community Schools. Following school, he worked at Advance Brands in Orange City, Iowa, and NorAm Cold Storage in Le Mars. He was presently employed as a leadman at Golden Crisp in Sioux Center, Iowa.

He will be remembered as the "life of the party". His outgoing personality was admired by all that knew him. Spending time with his nieces and friends was most important to home. He was a wonderful caring person. He loved to spend time outdoors. He played cards, dice and was an excellent dart thrower. He inherited his love for tinkering from his father and grandfather, And, wherever he went, he listened to music.

He will be lovingly remembered by his mother, Deborah Kellen and her special friend, Michael Eaton of Le Mars; his father, Loren Clark of Granville, Iowa; a sister and her husband, Jamie and Marcell Hyer of Le Mars; a brother and his wife, Jason and Jennifer Clark of Remsen, Iowa; a half sister, Kaitlyn Clark of Kingsley, Iowa; stepbrothers and stepsisters, Roxanne Ferdig of Le Mars, Steven Muilenburg of Le Mars, Corey Ruhland of Brunsville, Iowa, Tim Ruhland of Le Mars, Dona Ruhland of Merrill, Iowa, Chad Eberly of Sergeant Bluff and Chuck Eberly of Kingsley, Iowa; his fiancee, Stephanie Miedema of Le Mars; nieces, Ashlynn and Laurel Clark, Jillian, Victoria, Sabrina Hyer and Brianna Moon; grandparents, Arnie and Mabel Meister of Le Mars and Don and Mary Jane Kellen of Le Mars; great-grandmother, Helen Elving of Le Mars; numerous aunts, uncles, cousins and countless friends.

He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Alvine Roscoe Clark; and an uncle, Clair Clark.
