WALTER O. COLLINS
Walter O. Collins, 81, owner of the Gus Pech Foundry of LeMars died Friday at Sacred Heart hospital after a sickness of five weeks.
Mr. Collins had been retired from management of the foundry for several years.
He was born April 20, 1875, at Point Peninsula, N. Y. He married Margaret Ann May in 1908, at Minot, N.D.
Survivors besides the widow, Margaret, include four sons, Maynard F. and Harold W. both of Long Beach, Cal., and Wayne and Robert both of LeMars; a daughter, Mrs. Clem Karl, of LeMars; two brothers, Don of Alberta, Canada, and Delbert of Sibley, Ia.; a sister, Mrs. Fannie McMillan of Long Beach; 19 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were today (Monday) at 1:30 p.m. at the Baptist church with Rev. A. Kinrade, conducting the services. Mauer Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
Deceased was preceded in death by a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Connie) Totman; 3 brothers and 3 sisters.
He was a member of United Commercial Travelers.
