Viola M. Brown

Akron, Iowa --- Viola Mary Brown, 91, of Akron, died Sunday at the Akron hospital after a long illness.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday in the Adaville United Methodist Church. The Rev. Don Bardole will officiate. Burial will be in Pleasant Valley Cemetery. A prayer service will be at 7:30 p.m. today in the Schroeder Funeral Home in Akron.

Mrs. Brown, the former Viola Clarey, was born April 3, 1893, in Plymouth County. She was married to Grant Brown March 19, 1913, at Adaville. He died in 1957. They lived their entire married life on a farm near Adaville. He died in 1957 and she moved to the Akron Nursing Home in January 1984.

Survivors include two sons, Armand and Arden, both of Akron; five grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
