Obituary

Mrs. Catherine Oleson

Special---Services for Mrs. Catherine Oleson, 85, who died last Thursday, June 17, [1971], in a Rapid City, S. D., hospital were 2 p.m. Monday at Calvary Lutheran church in Lemmon with the Rev. John Langehough officiating.

Burial was in Greenhill cemetery.

Mrs. Oleson was born Oct. 12, 1885, in Plymouth county, to James and Agnes Tindall. She attended schools in Iowa and in 1909 went to Perkins county, settling near Meadow, S.D.

She married James Oleson July 2, 1912, at Aberdeen. They made their home near Meadow until 1925 when they moved to Lemmon. Mrs. Oleson was a member of the Women’s Christian Temperance Union.

Survivors are a daughter, Mrs. Robert (Agnes) Vinali, Denver, Colo.; son, John, San Leandro, Calif.; two brothers, Jack Tindall, LeMars; and Robert Tindall, La Guna Hills, Calif.; nine grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons.

Attending the services from this area were Mr. and Mrs. J. D. Tindall, Mrs. Ralph Hunter, Mr. and Mrs. Richard Tindall of Hemet, Calif., who are visiting in LeMars; Mrs. Lizzie Tindall, Adam Tindall Jr., Mrs. William Feuerhelm, Mrs. Claire Allen and Mrs. Stanley Tindall.
