KNECHT—At his home in Merrill Friday, Feb. 22, John Knecht aged 69 years.

Mr. Knecht also settled in this county in 1869, homesteading a piece of land in Johnson township. He was widely known and respected throughout the community and he will be greatly missed by a large circle of neighbors. His funeral takes place in Merrill today.
