DEATH SUMMONS MRS. VETA FRANK
Last Rites Are Held Wednesday For Former Akron Resident
Mrs. Veta M. (George) Frank, who spent her youthful years in Akron, passed away August 20, 1962, at her home, Seattle, Wash., after suffering a stroke, aged 62 years, 3 months and 15 days.
Veta M. Warner was born to Henry W. and Jessie Warner, May 8, 1900, at Hartington, Nebr., and came to Akron with her parents as a child and attended local schools.
She was married to George Frank in 1943 at Seattle. In 1951 they moved to Anchorage, Alaska, returning to Seattle only a few months ago.
Survivors include the widower; her mother, Mrs. Jessie Warner, of Akron, and two sisters, Mrs. Wanda Kistle, of LeMars, and Mrs. Gladys Hurt, of Denver.
The remains were brought to Akron and funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Lewison Funeral Home, Rev. Michael Strom, pastor of the First Baptist church, officiating. Soloist was Mrs. Hugh Swift, and Mrs. Vint. Adams was accompanist. Pallbearers were Walter Young, Clair McCorkell, Ellis Tucker, Truman Campbell, Floyd Wilcox and Arvel Lake. Interment was in Riverside cemetery.
