Judson McDougall, sr.

Judson N. McDougall, 81, lifelong Le Mars and area resident, died Thursday (April 23, 1981) at the Brentwood Good Samaritan center. Le Mars, after a lengthy illness. He had lived at Brendwood since April 13.

Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at St. John's American Lutheran church in Le Mars. Rev. William Striepe officiated and burial was in Le Mars Memorial cemetery under direction of the Luken-Johnson funeral home. A prayer service was held at 7 p.m. Sunday at the funeral home.

Mr. McDougall was born March 11, 1900, in Struble to Alexander and Katherine Nobel McDougall. He was a member of St. John's American Lutheran church, Le Mars. His marriage to Bertha J. DeRaad took place Dec. 2, 1920, at Struble. She died in 1966. He married Sena H. Bohlken Dec. 31, 1969, in Le Mars.

He was also preceded in death by his parents, three brothers, and six sisters.

Survivors are his wife, Sena, Le Mars; a daughter, Marian A. Kilstrom of Akron; three sons, Marlin J. of Montevideo, Minn.; Judson N. jr., St. Louis and Donald L. Bohlken, both of Le Mars; 10 grandchildren; six great-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; four step-grandchildren and three step-great-grandchildren.
